A new automatic Weather Station is on-line in Acton Bridge - click here for current conditions.

The village website carries news of a proposed wind 'farm' across the valley at Aston, which was refused planning permission by Vale Royal Borough Council but has now gone to a Planning Inquiry. There is also a threat to the village from an NPL pipeline.

The website is regularly updated, and now includes news and Minutes from the Parish Council and the Women's Institute.

An archive page of climbing trip reports from the uk.rec.climbing newsgroup is being built up here. Enjoy!
