Apologies for absence received from Mrs Bayley, Mr Connor and Mr Hodgson.
1. Public Matters
None
2. Minutes
Minutes of meeting held on 4th December 2006 were accepted & signed.
3. Matters Arising.
a) Wind Farm, Aston Grange. Nothing new from VRBC. Applicant, Tegni, may appeal.
b) Bus Shelter. The clerk is to check if any buses use Station Rd. As yet it appears that no bus companies use the route.
c) Rottweilers are still being walked without a lead. A letter has been sent to the Police. Police to be contacted again.
4. Planning Applications
a) Extension to dwelling, 8 Cliff Rd, Mr Fishwick. Planning application meeting to be held on 19 Dec 2006. Clerk sent letter reiterating all previous objections from the Parish Council and requesting that they be taken into consideration.
b) Milton Heyes. Mr & Mrs McCormack have made an appeal to the Secretary of State to grant consent for extensions & alterations to their dwelling. Observations already made by PC will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and the appellant.
5. Planning Decisions

6. Authority for signing cheques and Financial Matters
Cheques required
a) Burial Committee £115.00
b) Citizens Advice Bureau £50.00
Precept 2007/08. After consideration it was suggested that the precept be increased to £2,000. This was agreed. Form to be completed and sent to VRBC.
7. District Representatives Report
None
8. Reports from other meetings
Burial Committee - Mr M Hodgson was given 100% support by PC. It was agreed that he has done a brilliant job.
9. Correspondence
a) List of dates, VR meetings. To be passed onto Mrs Bayley.
b) Cheshire Police Authority, Draft Policing Objectives for 2007/08. Focal points listed were agreed upon particularly about speeding in rural areas. Comments form to be completed.
c) CCC Corporate Senior Management Re-structuring.
d) VRBC Parish Conference 28th February 5.00pm at Wyvern House.
e) Offer of Litter equipment.
f) VRBC Licencing Committee.
g) Cheshire Matters.
10. Village Matters
A litter picker has be seen working in Weaverham. Mr Holt to make enquiries, to see if a community worker could be employed in AB to litter pick.
