Getting around, the Met and the Natural History Museum

Here are some more small images from the Fujifilm MX-700 camera, taken in New York City.

On the Subway train Subway train number and plaque. The trains are generally very clean, without the graffiti anymore The ubiquitous Yellow Cab. Alarmingly, many of them are fitted with these cow-catchers, presumably so that the driver can turn round to talk incessantly to his passengers without worrying if he rear-ends the car in front

...and we certainly did!

How New York's Finest get around
New Beetle, spotted in Greenwich Village (the driver is waving!) Staten Island Ferry, the best bargain in the City (return fare $0.00 if you stay on board)... and what Drebin crashes into.
Judy with a spinach Knish ("d'you want that heated?") Simpsons chess set in a shop window near Bleeker Street, and... ...another art form: an Egyptian temple in the Metropolitan Museum of Art
