Note by SJP: each third of the 216 colours is a multiple of 33 Hex (51 Dec) and so are 00, 33, 66, 99, CC, FF; and the equivalent decimal values (for reference in Paint, etc) are 0, 51, 102, 153, 204, 255.

This second table shows the same colors, but has a slightly different structure. Instead of layering the colors from top to bottom, this version provides more of an outside-to-inside perspective. It might be a little more difficult to grasp the structure of the color cube from this version, but I find it easier to select related colors. Robert Hess
