Apologies were received from Mr S Pardoe, Mr R Gleave and Mr M Hodgson
Condolences were expressed at the death of Cllr A Hooker's husband Roy. Mr S Pardoe attended the funeral.
The meeting was attended by Police Constable S Turner and colleague. They reported that their Inspector intends to send out regularly 'Intelligence bulletins. The Police hope to do a crime prevention purge in the village.

a) Wind Farm Aston Grange - Nothing new to report. VRBC is collecting information.

a) Land at Manor Farm - Change of use of land to outdoor riding arena. Permitted by VRBC

Cheque required for Acton Bridge's contribution of £115 to the Joint Burial Committee

ABCA is to hold a Pear Festival in September.

a) Cheshire Pride. Best kept Village 2006 - passed to Mrs Bayley.

a) Footpath outside railway station requires attention. J Oakley to be informed.

12. Next meeting will be held on Monday 6th March 2006 at 7.30pm.

b) A49 Safety - Richard Flood, Highways Dept accepted invitation to March meeting. He has suggested a combined meeting with other Parishes concerned with the A49. Monday 10th March at 2.00pm was found to be acceptable. Richard Flood to be informed.
c) Chris Burnham. Road Liaison Officer, Western Division, Police. A meeting was arranged to meet Parish Councillors on 18th January at 10.00am but unfortunately Mr Burnham was taken ill suddenly.
d) Community Police - Enquiries were made with Weaverham Parish Council. They have a special arrangement due to all the problems they have been having. Hartford PC pay £50000 for 3 years for their community officer.
e) Street light, Acton Lane has been mended.
f) Mr K Worrall tendered his resignation as he is moving out of the village. The Chairman said that all Mr Worrall's efforts on the Parish Council was very much appreciated.
g) No one was able to attend the meeting on 31 January concerning the proposed Resource Recovery Park on Ince Marshes.
9 Orchard Ave. Single storey ext to side & rear (resubmission 05-1278-FUL) for Mr & Mrs B Clarke. No objections.
b) App no 05-2134-FUL
33, Milton Rough Replacement carport (retrospective) for Mr & Mrs Gibbons. Objections - the applicants have been unreasonable and very inconsiderate to their neighbours. They have made it very difficult for maintenance to be carried out on their neighbours property.
b) 68 Cliff Rd. New utility room & conservatory for Mr M Latham. This application went to appeal and has been dismissed by the Inspector.

Burial Committee - Minutes received. These were circulated.
b) CC Environmental Planning service. Notification of policy documents relating to the minerals dev framework. Local dev Scheme & statement of community involvement.
c) VRBC Big Lottery - Children's play initiative & audit of Community Playgrounds in VR. Potential funding for playground improvements.
d) Mayor's Parlour Invitation to Charity Civic Ball, 31st March.

b) Tea bar, A49 is thought to be in a very dangerous place for vehicles turning onto the waste ground where it is positioned.
