Sat 12 November 2.45 for 3pm Our 70th Birthday!! All members are invited to come and celebrate with a proper Afternoon Tea Party! In the Parish Rooms.

Fri 18 November 7 for 7.30pm ABCA Quiz evening. The popular fundraisers for our Parish Rooms return! Keep the date, and start getting your friends together! Fun and good company! More details in the November edition of ABCA News.

Tues 29 November 7.30pm Book Club meeting at Jenny Roberts's. This month's book is Chris Cleave's "The Other Hand". Please let her know if you are going (851331) so there are enough chairs (and wine glasses!).

Fri 2 December 10am Local Walk. Meet at Parish Rooms for a prompt get-away! Margaret is proposing a circular route around Kingsley, with lovely views over Cheshire. Please let her know (01606 851788) if you would like to come along with this friendly group - we don't want to leave anyone behind!

Mon 5 December 7pm Group Carol Service - this year it's in Acton Bridge Methodist Chapel! Come and start Christmas with Carols and Christmas readings, followed by tea and mince pies with other WI members!

Wed 7 June 2017 All day NFWI AGM at Liverpool Echo Arena. Look out for the resolutions for consideration, featured in November 2016 WI Life. Vote by January meeting! Applications to attend as observers must be made to CFWI House - address below - by 23 January!! Send £20 cheque +51p and self-addressed envelope (NOT stamped) with your name and contact details.

22-23 October 2017 Sun-Mon Denman College taster course. Run by CFWI. Your chance to experience our special college with a choice of five 4hr taster courses OR a 2hr combo. Cost £182 including travel and accommodation. Apply by 12 January! See board
