Dates Time Event
1st Saturday of every month ongoing (next on Sat May 3rd) 10am Station Gardening/village litterpick. ABCA and WI joint venture to keep our verges tidy, improve and maintain the once lovely station gardens, and perhaps win the best kept station competition. Meet with gloves and favourite tools at the station. Safety jackets provided. Further details from Hazel Bayley.
 
Weds 23 April 7.30pm St George's Day concert at Winsford Civic Hall, with our own Weaver Valley WI choir in "Songs from the Shows". Tickets £7.00. Raffle, Bar. Dress (optional) Red and White. Sign up on board.
Friday 25 April am-pm Group craft workshop - a new venture! - tickets still available for decoupage and patchwork. Sign by April 18th. At Frodsham Community Centre. Bring your own lunch, tea provided! Further details from Pat Coates
Friday 2 May 10am Walk round Bluebell Woods. Meet at Leigh Arms 10am, or join us for lunch there at 12.30-1pm

Thurs 8 May 10.30am 3.30pm Guided tour of Tatton house hidden treasures and Japanese garden. Tickets £6 max, based on shared cars, including lunch in Harness Room. Sign up on board.
Weds 28 May 7.30pm Spring Group Meeting - Marie Dixon performs "Marie Lloyd, Queen of Comedy". Details to follow. Volunteers for teas needed - please see Pat Coates.
Wed 4 June All day National AGM comes to Liverpool! Observers welcome (tickets £12). Our choir will be singing! see Judy or Sue for more details.
Mon 30 June 6.30-9pm Guided Rose Walk evening at Fryers Rose Nursery, with hybridising house and rose fields. Tickets £7 including light refreshments. Sign up on board.
Sat 2 August   August Outing - "From Cathedral to Cathedral" a blue badge guided tour of two iconic Liverpool sites. Travel by train from Acton Bridge. Details to follow Open to friends and family. Limited spaces.
Sat 6 September tbc ADVANCE NOTICE!! Acton Bridge Show Joint venture between WI and ABCA. Start choosing your seeds, or preparing your crafts now!!
Thurs 16 October 1.30pm Autumn Group meeting - talk by Christine Robinson "Chatsworth for Christmas". Details to follow.
Sat 18 October 12-2pm ADVANCE NOTICE! Soup and Sandwich lunch Annual lunch to raise money for the Acton Bridge WI and Seniors' Christmas party
