1st Saturday of every month ongoing (next on Sat October 4th) 10am Station Gardening/village litterpick. ABCA and WI joint venture to keep our verges tidy, improve and maintain the once lovely station gardens, and perhaps win the best kept station competition. Meet with gloves and favourite tools at the station. Safety jackets provided. Further details from Hazel Bayley.
 
Fri 12 September 7.30pm Roberts Bakery Brass Band Concert. Frodsham Community Centre. Tickets £7 including glass of wine. Sign up on board
Fri 19 September 10am Walk round Norley. Not too strenuous! Meet at the Tigers Head pub, or just join us there for lunch at about 12.00. Sign up on board, or tell Margaret Williams, so we know to expect you

Tues 7 October 11am - 3pm Cheshire Federation of WIs Autumn Group Meeting at Winsford Civic Hall. Tickets £10. Speaker Steve Leonard, TV broadcaster & veterinary surgeon. Sign up on board
Thurs 16 October 1.30pm Autumn Group meeting - talk by Christine Robinson at Frodsham Community Centre "Christmas at Chatsworth". Tickets £3.50 from Pat Coates.
Sat 18 October 12-2pm Soup and Sandwich lunch. Annual lunch raises money for the Acton Bridge WI and Seniors' Christmas party. Please sign up to make soup, sandwiches, cakes, or look out items for the sales table!
Fri 21 November 10-3.30 Science & Technology Catch-up at Byley Village Hall. Tickets including lunch £15. A chance to up-date your knowledge of issues affecting our lives and the planet! Sign up on board
