May is the month for discussing the National Resolution which this year was about 'organ donation. ' The resolution urged members to encourage their families and friends to think about donating their organs in the event of an untimely death. The resolution was carried unanimously.

Jane Evans brought the village defibrillator to show members how to use it. The instructions on how to use it are very clear and take you step by step should it be necessary to use it to save someone's life. As there was no speaker the rest of the evening included a 'Social Supper.' All sorts of tasty dishes were contributed by members and a very pleasant meal was enjoyed by everyone.
